I am 16 years old and i have lived without my daddy... sometimes it was hard, not haveing a dad. but im okay. I have had my uncles and my papa and the rest of my family. Yall will be just fine. i wish you the best of luck with all you do! great poem.

Wow. thats all i can really say about this poem. it is so sad, but trust me, your not the only person that goes through this. I know that the father was messed up, and he will forever be. my mom is a single mother taking care of my brother & I, and yes, sometimes it IS hard, but i KNOW that you will get through it. When i'm in a bad situation i tell myself this, "When You Think POSITIVE, Positive Things WILL Happen to You. When You Think NEGATIVE, Negative Things WILL Happen To You." When i heard this on "The Secret," it blew me away. it is so true!
