Sinking

Hiding behind lies
So that no one will see
In my bed I lay
As, again, I cry myself to sleep
There's no light anywhere anymore
I am alone
I've lost your trust
I've lost your faith
Everything that I once had
Has been erased
I've been facing this alone
But now the water is too far above my head
I can't break through anymore
Gasping as I sink
For one last breath of air
I'm sucked into the waters cold embrace
Screaming as I go under
No longer shall I know
No longer will I have to face
The day
No longer will I have to stay
No longer will I waste away
Swallowed up forever
Lost under the lies inside
For the water offers no confort
There's no where I can hide
Slipping without a final breath
Going under I face my death
