Her Tears

by Leah20   Nov 22, 2004

Sorrow filled tears
Drop silently to the floor
Way too many times
Has she been here before
Sorrow splashing
Rhythmically on the ground
She wonders why no one around
Can hear the sound of her sobbing

Lost forever to her life so cold
Sheltered from everyone
Left to battle all alone
No one left to look after her
And no one left to care
She stares at her wrists
She hates who she's become
All she ever wanted
Was someone to listen
But they've all turned away
And no ones left
To Chase away her tears
No one's left to rid her of her fears
She's alone
She hates not being herself
She hates always being wrong
But she cannot do
What she's been dying to do
Because it's too complicated
And the consequences
They are too high
So she'll hold on
By willing herself
To survive
