Home is like a prison
Scary and lonely
Daddy’s always screaming
I hear it 24/7
Locked in my room
Wishing life was over
Wanting to run away
Anywhere else is better
Screaming and cussing
Trying to hold back tears
Wanting to scream back at you
Yet I’m so speechless
Looking for an escape
Wanting to feel no pain
Thinking of cutting
Put the knife on my skin
About to slice open
But to scared to go through
Im weak and can hardly stand
Yet im strong enough
To remove the knife from my hand
Fall to the ground
Tears run from my eyes
Wanting life to be better
And Needing someone to care
Help me to get through this
And get ride of this pain!
