Living within a world dripping with sin
The light fades from white to red
The flames of hell so near to us
The burning fire deep within all
Screaming to be free
Allowing our dreams to be wiped away
Allowing our sorrow to consume us
Both body and soul
Unhappiness is a feeling all to familiar
The sorrow buried within us
Emotions yearning to be free
Holding our fragile lives on a string
God puts on a puppet show for all to see
To witness our shattered hopes and crushed esteem
Placed us in this hell called life
