The Day...

by aDORKable x3   Nov 23, 2004

"The day has come, the terrorists
said,
to fly the planes into,
those big tall towers over there
and leave a seldom few."

So they loaded up their engines
with enough fuel to kill
all the people in the towers,
"That should be his fill"

So they took off,
but little did they know
that people on board
would give them a show

They resisted quite greatly
the efforts not in vain
we commemorate them
Though some don't know the pain.

My father was in the city.
It wasn't a pretty site.
To see those airplanes crashing
down,
It gave him an awful fright.

3 years have come and gone
but we have not forgotten
the ones who died and gave their
lives
WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN!

**THIS GOES OUT TO ALL WHO HAVE LOST SOMEONE TO THE ATTACKS OF 9/11/01. I'm sorry. It's probably not the best poem. Please(!!!!) don't just vote, comment too. I want *your* feedback! THANX
