Letter to Mary

by Stephen Levant   Nov 23, 2004

Between sleep and wakefulness, in the realm of all possibilities, I ask myself how long such things will last. My heart has been broken and mended. I am between hope and despair suspended. All finds itself squelched in the furnaces of your passion. At once and forever, the beautiful child finds herself transformed into a vibrant woman. I found my love in the innocence of childhood. Now, it comforts and humbles me in manhood. Your love has ever and always understood me.

To my love,
Mary
