Why Wait? Why Wait?

If it’s going to come
Then why refuse
To let it happen sooner
Why win why lose?

Life may be pointless
No-one really knows
Though one things for certain
Everyone goes

When we see death coming
We get scared and upset
But when we’ve lived with it for long
We may only regret

If it’s going to happen
Then simply why wait
For the end to be longer
