Fractual Time

by Seronum   Nov 24, 2004

The pendulum stops and breaks away. As time falls still from this dismay. Hear the storms of summer rain. Which blankly stand in the midst of pain.

Ooh home to the life of loss.
Greatly haunting the mind with gloss.

Reflection staring down at you.
As you stare back in search of truth.

Find that lie that hid so long.
Avoiding every word that went wrong.

Kill the tear drops, that spattered down.
And swallow the darkness of depression ground.

Live that life that died long ago.
and forget the past, which killed you so.

Falling away to never return.
convert the space that you never burned.

That space which kept you back so long. That space which showed you the truth so wrong.

Reach for time and set it back.
Relive that place you must retract.

Coming forth to that space between.
That place which held so much unseen.

This is the place of sorrow and happiness both.
Staying here devoted by oath.

Graving visions of denial sin.
Just wait for the second for the time to begin.

wow, i absolutly loved this. This is a beautifully dark piece of writing, i love that you used the pendulumas a choice of symbolism, and i espcially liked the lines,
"Reach for time and set it back.
Relive that place you must retract.
Coming forth to that space between.
That place which held so much unseen.
This is the place of sorrow and happiness both.
    Staying here devoted by oath."
i love the comments on time and place. i also admired the last two lines, lovely. great job
