Littel girl at age of 6

by Lenee.Roca   Nov 24, 2004

There is a little at the age of 6
she sat in the closet
close to the shadows
she sees her daddy hit her mommy
she was crying but not too loud
for he would turn around
and find her sitting there
she was supposed to be a sleep
but she couldn't
for she was scared
he would hurt her mommy even more
everyday she would go to school
and be a fake little girl
now she's almost grown up at the age of 13
she still acts like someone she's not
because her daddy is always in the newspaper
for drugs or assault
she gets asked questions each and every day
and she just says she don't know anything about him
her friends don't even know what really goes on
inside her head or what really happens every night
they all think this girl has a perfect life
but if they could switch places for a day
her parents wouldn't even know
they don't pay attention to her at all
they don't know that for the past 3 years
there little girl has been a cutter
to get rid of the pain
that will never go away
she has many scars but the worst one is on her heart
and it is from her non-loving parents
she needs love to help her mend
but not one person can help her besides her parents
because they caused their child
to be this way
