THAT NEW DOOR

by PlacidReaction   Nov 24, 2004

How can I ease my pain?
How can I be loved?
How can I find a way, to reach the stars above?
There is just one answer, one way to reach the sky?
The only way I can figure, is to slit my wrists and die
But that won’t solve many issues, for my family and friends
Cos for them, life will cease to exist, and their pain will never end.
I’ve got to fight my mission
I’ve got to fight my war
I’ve got to find a way, to open a new door
A door that leads to happiness
A door that can’t be closed
A door where there’s a bright light, to take away my woes.
I can’t describe the problem, of being down and low
Bottling up my feelings, until I need to blow
But when things get better
When the pain begins to ease
I can look back at this letter
I can read it and be pleased
Be pleased that I completed my mission
Be pleased that I fought my war
And pleased that I found a way to open that new door.
