I won't always be around to save you

by Mild insomnia   Nov 24, 2004

Swear to me you won’t give in,
When it’s time, and it’s sink or swim,
Just think,
Of everything you’ll be missing.

When it’s tough promise to hold on,
Cos you say you’d never do me wrong,
Be strong,
I just cannot cope with you gone.

So stop telling me you’ll go commit your suicide,
You think that you’ll drown in the tears; you have cried.

So sorry I won’t always be here,
I’m not eternal and the end is drawing near,
Each year,
I try to banish all your fears.

Still you throw it all back in my face,
All the insults that time will not erase,
Not today,
But these are my last days in this place.

And each time I save you, I will take another blow,
Stop feeling sorry for yourself, when you’ve still hope.
