Limited View

by Michael D Nalley   Nov 24, 2004

For those that see with a limited view
Believing they can see all that is true
Sharing their views with many or a few
The truth is there for the wise to pursue
They can’t see the forest for the trees

Some can’t see what‘s in front of their eyes
Can’t see the truth in their view for the lies
Many are caught by illusions that hypnotize
Many seek illusions for a while to fantasize
A dreamer sailing imaginary seas

Many see only what they want to see
Making the truth what they want it to be
To see the truth in it’s true reality
It would destroy their pseudo harmony
The truth cannot be shown to these

We can only see the surface we can’t see through
Without cutting deeper into what we see as true
We can see from a distance, the sky appears blue
But our eyes are not deceived by colors in view
Who would not believe what he sees?

When we reach heaven we can see
Beautiful colors for eternity
