I thought we would die, but we didn’t

Do you remember when we got drunk for the first time and we wanted to go swimming?

I thought it was going to last forever, but it didn’t.

Do you remember at netball trip with the sleaze outside our window?

I thought he would come into our room, but he didn’t.

Do you remember your first kiss, and we went to the pub after?

I thought the girls were to scream and jump and dance, but they didn’t.

Do you remember going to the pub after grand final this year and we hadn’t talked for months, and the girls wanted us to be friends again?

So we got blind and we talked, its still not the same, but we talked
