Missing People'

by Krete   Nov 25, 2004

Theres a lot of people missing from my life.

This thought comes back when
Tail lights fade,
Forced smiles meet,
Grey clouds pass over,
and sadness settles.

Softly exposed to a world of wonders.
Lost and forgotten,
not knowing its hundreds.

Wonders of when,
My mother will smile,
and I as a child,
will understand the while.

The while it took to remember my past,
as a figment,
and fiction,
lost in the facts.

The facts of life,
to heavy and bound,
only to settle as strife,
deep in the ground.

Strife that is right,
horrible nights,
veins that hurt.

And hurt is a subject,
that longs for repair.
But not dealt with,
it will ruin your stare.

As a smile is forced,
and clouds pass me by,
Sadness settles,
and tail lights fade.

A wonder how life got this way,
a wonder how it strayed.

i am falling in love with your words so precious. and i agree with Grace...instead of focusing on all those who are lost, look all of those who you have now for tommorrow is never promised to anyone. your poems are amazing. God bless.loves.

Aww this is so sad.. :'( I'm sorry about the people who are no longer around. But.. try being more positive. Look at the people who actually ARE still in your life. Anyways, great job. Take care! =)
