Distance

by ~DyingBlackRose~   Nov 25, 2004

Distance doesn't matter to me.
but to you it might,
sometimes distance is a good thing,
but to some it's hard to go on.
Some make it through, others don't.

Distance can be 2,000 miles or just 5 miles,
but no matter how far away you are from me,
our hearts are still together,
for as long as we talk to each other.

We can still be best friends,
no matter the distance.
I won't forget you,
and hopefully you won't forget me.

I care for you,
and hopefully you will feel the same.
I won't let you get hurt or worse,
because I'm your little sister.

Even if we are far away,
we don't have to stop being friends.
The distance is to far for both of us to walk,
But we still see each other.
You're my sister,
and I hope you always will be.
We still take care of one an other.
If one of us is upset,
the other is there for them.

So you see distance doesn't matter between our friendship!

*I wrote this for one of my closest friends who I've known practically my whole life and even though we live about 2,500 miles apart...we're still best friends and its been 3 years since she has moved and we're still there for each other..so if we can do it...I know that everybody else can too.*
