Lost Little Girl

by Mentally_Unable   Nov 26, 2004

She’s still a little girl lost and alone in a scary place
And all she hear are voices never followed by a face
She scream until she’s hoarse but no one ever listen
She try her very best to get everyone else attention
Sometimes she looks in the mirror just to see a reflection
And she stare for hours but all she see is rejection

She’s still a lost little girl who cries are never heard
She’s waiting for that day when she can fly like a bird
The day she can spread her wings and be worry free
But all she can do now is pray they hear her plea
Just to be seen she will giveaway everything she got
Even though what she have isn’t a lot

She’s just a lost little girl who hungers for loving
But all she receives is hate and no hugging
She’s surrounded by people but she’s alone in a way
And that little girl just turn 19 today
As long as she’s there her mother will never see
That the little girl I speak of is me
