To: Mommy

I hear the yelling
the occasional swearing
I fade to my world
with my headphones blaring
I want it all
to fade away
I want the peace to come
back someday
I'm sorry i don't
carry my own weight
if i start now
will it be too late?
I'm sorry I don't
take care of myself
but i really do care
about my body and health
I'm grateful for everything
you've ever done
You take care of me
and I'm sorry I've done none
I love you mommy,
I really do
But I'm sorry I don't
do much for you
