We started out as friends
A long time ago
As the years went by
Our love started to grow

In the back of my mind
I could clearly see
We're two different people
Could "we" ever be?

I'll never forget that night
We shared together
From that point on
I knew I'd love you forever

Until the day came
When I moved away
I wished so badly
I was able to stay

As time went by
I did move on
But the thought of you
Was never gone

When you came back into my life
I was so confused
I was with him then
Someone I never wanted to lose

I sat there and wondered
What should I do?
Then someone said to me
"Follow you heart, It will come
to you"

I finally came to realize
It wasn't a question of who

It's always been you!!!
