I loved this poem. I am 100% against the death penalty as well ... I do not find it right for we, as society to tell people it's against the law to kill another, yet turn around and inject our own with poison. How is that right? It's hypocritical, and wrong.

Anyways, this poem touched my heart, even if its not true. Amazing write.

This poem made me think more about how in our country they say it's innocent until proven guilty, but a lot of the time it ends up being guilty until proven innocent.

this is so sad. i hope it didnt really happen to you, but if it did, i'm sorry. i believe in the death penalty for certain crimes, but i also think it should only be done in cases where there is definate fact, by dna, or otherwise to implicate the accused person.

I am 100% for the death penalty, because you never really hear of a case where the person they convicted is innocent, but I do love your poem, that was just freakin beautiful and I was bawling by the end of it... Great Job... Keep writing...

    Wow...Thanks everyone. You're all great! :)

I got an e-mail where someone asked me why I am against death penalty. Well, do we actually prove that murder is wrong by murdering another person? Doesn't really make much sense, does it? And it does happen that the person who is sentenced to death is innocent.

    Once again; Thank you!

hi! its amazing... sad but very well written... i can't say that i'm against death penalty i can't say that i'm not, for i lost a cousin murder was the case... them lil vicious people took him away, so sometimes i think life is the only payment for that... but anyhow, i feelbad for them people who got convicted knowing that they dint do anything wrong... so maybe i stand my self in the middle... but i liked this poem, made me shed another tear... hope u pass by mine, and read to all the people i once love... much love.... ***letishia***

i love your poem but it made feel stupid because i actually felt sorry for you. It kind of made me mad that you put the not true story crap at the end. But all in all i loved the poem and great work.

I think that it is very good. but i am in favor of the penalty. how many innocents have gone to jail for those crimnials that Framed them and died?I know this seems like your defense in an opposite way, but I don't know. Your poem was great!

    Check mine maybe?
