Kissed away the fears

The way you make me laugh
i never have a doubt
but why you bring these tears
i can never quite work out

when we are together
it feels anything is possible
but when you leave me here alone
life becomes unbearable

i love the way you hug me
miss you when you're not there
think about you all the time
and hate it when you don't care

you kissed away my fears
that brought along depression
after all this time I'm still naive
you'd think id learn my lesson

its as if you completely lose
all sense of human emotion
it starts to kill and tear when i think
how i still believe in your devotion

an everlasting ride I'm living
as i look back you take over
all other memories fade away
reminded how you just moved to another

you left me time and time again
not considering how i felt
did you not know? or where you blind?
id never been such a mess

but now I'm starting to get used to
the way in which you work
each time the pains more bearable
though I'm not yet numb to all the hurt

not yet numb, but as i said
i can now smile instead of crying
yes sometimes it may be hard
as inside I'm probably dying

i know you'll never feel that
or hurt in a way you cant see a end
again i fall for you as you say those words
even though they're all pretend
