Inaudible Lies.

by Daphne Darling   Nov 27, 2004

Inaudible sighs of depression,
Lying on the ground I'll say I'm ok,
Hardly the truth as I fall over again,
Making my way through the crowd,
Climbing to the top once again,
Fall down with me again and again,
Spread your arms and flap them,
Flying to the bottom of despair,
A smile a false hope plastered there,
Undiluted tears of hatred and pain,
Dusted falsehoods come true,
Play along in your daily roles,
Smile along with me as I crash down,
Slipping along a shining floor,
Lying awake trying to find how to cry,
Drifting in a nightmare of happiness
Whispered threats in the dark,
Sunshine covering dark clouds,
Blood red over pure white,
Fading in the distance the happiness here,
Lead astray; walk with the demon,
Covering the confusion of minds,
Tower over the little parts in life,
Morning sunlight breaking through,
Daylight dusk and night time dawn,
In the embrace of a loved one,
Feeling all alone in the dark world,
Lost in a maze of sorrow and doubt,
Finding no ends to what is to come.
