Long run

by Shaina Ahenger   Nov 27, 2004

Exhaustion happens,
After running a few miles.

The incredible feeling,
Of the accomplishment,
When I'm finally back home.

The long cement road,
Seems like eternity,
When you're running on it.
Voices run,
Through my head,
Of encouragement.
To finish strong,

Never give up,
Until you're legs can't go on.
Until the run is over.
Until you're satisfied,
With the feeling, when you're done.
