Father...

by Shaina Ahenger   Nov 27, 2004

I wish I hated you,
So I couldn't miss you,
When you're gone forever.
I'm not embarrassed,
Nor afraid to admit,
That you are my father.
I'm ashamed,
Ashamed of who you are.
Disappointed in the choices,
You've chosen over me.
Fifteen years of your shit,
That you've put me through.
I won't forgive you,
And I'll never forget.
I've lost all hope.
You will never change,
Or grow into a man.
You're a lost soul,
Waiting for death to come.
Never again will my life,
Be ruined by you're ignorance.
So many years,
Wasted of offering help.
And a lending hand.
One thing I will always know,
Is I never needed you.
You've been there,
For me then,
And now,
Just to get in my way.
