Take my hand

by Mild insomnia   Nov 27, 2004

Take my hand, lets walk alone,
Down the god forsaken road,
Everyone turned back, but we won’t go.

Candles light along the roadside,
No cars for miles, we’re all right,
The moon’s shining, oh so bright.

And I miss you – if you step too far,
I – I – I, feel a strain upon my heart.

Babe, - you - ne - ver - looked so good,
Oh tonight,
We’re far away, and I wish we could,
Tonight.
Take my hand.

The trees line along the path,
I think of all the times we’ve had,
And if you ever leave... the thought’s too sad.

A bonfire upon some logs,
We sit beside, doing what we want,
The memories forever haunt,
Inside my head.

And I miss you – if you step too far,
I – I – I, feel a strain upon my heart.

Babe, - you - ne - ver - looked so good,
Oh tonight,
We’re far away, and I wish we could,
Tonight.
Take my hand.
