Whiper your fake words

As i hold your hand
my mind begins to wonder
if this short time spent with you
is really worth the thunder

as you hold me closely
happiness is re-found
but something inside yells at me
and says to turn around

as you tell me you love me
no longer can i think
the smiles overpower
as I'm pulled closer to the brink

and although my head knows
these actions are actually wrong
my heart still stays with you
but I'm not sure for how long

how long this will last
if the pain will leave
catching site of my scars
its hard to believe

the ways they were made
it sickens me inside
the memories will stay
of every tear i cried

so hold my hand and don't let go
whisper those words although they're fake
ill take the pain, i know i can
