I always told myself I loved you
but I guess it was just not true
I’m not really sure how you feel
but I guess this is me for real
I always said tomorrow would not be the same
but I guess we both are to blame
I waited so long for you to open up to me
but I guess it just won’t be
when you told me you loved me I said it was true
and I put all my faith in you
you never let me down
were I had to frown
we were different in many ways
but we never listened to what anyone had to say
I guess I never loved you or maybe I do
but something has to change or we won’t be cool
