Nobody Answered

I am driving in my car,
On this late and dark night,
I can barely see the road, all thanks to him,
The falling tears are blocking my view, thinking of the things he said,

I trusted him to tell the truth,
I trusted him with my soul,
I trusted him with my heart,
His trust ended up to be fools gold,

The words he said,
Are still ringing in my head,
Mixed feelings have filled me,
My heart has been shattered to 110,

Who’s gonna help me?
Who’s gonna save me?
Will any one be able to put my heart back to one piece?
But nobody answered, so nobody is my answer,

Who would care?
Who will be there to hear?
Where can I go to feel wanted and loved?
But nobody answered, so nobody is my answer,

Who will tell me “everything’s going to be ok”?
Who’s gonna tell me “just give it sometime, then you’ll be fine”?
Who’s gonna tell me things I need to hear?
But nobody answered, so nobody is my answer,

Am I sad or mad?
What should I do? Just travel a head?
Is anyone here to make my questions clear?

It’s raining inside and out,
The storm poring out side as my tears hit the floor,
Windshield wipers, tissues, they are no use,
I can’t see any ways so why bother?

The name of this road, I don’t know,
I don’t care; I just want to get out of here,
No destination, within my lonely heart,
Just keep on traveling; let’s see where the road goes,

Drive faster and faster,
The speed limit I don’t know, I just want to get out of here,
No time limit, within my lonely mind do I desire,
Just keep on traveling, how fast can we go?

Will anybody miss me?
Would anyone care?
Would anyone notice if I wasn’t there?
But nobody answers, so nobody is my answer,

These tears just keep on coming,
You think they’d slow down,
This storm rumbles on,
Its downpour is heavier as the world keeps on spinning,

The faster I go,
The farther I am,
Until I hit that tree,
That I just didn’t see,

My body flung forward,
Through the windshield I went,
I am still alive,
Living on a limb,

Jagged glass cuts through me,
This pain is too much,
I can’t move anything,
As blood, tears and rain mix along,

Too weak to look for help,
Too weak to move,
Rain turned to snow,
Sending deeper chills to my bones,

Will anyone find me?
Will anyone save me?
But nobody answers, so nobody is my answer,
So I lay here and die, all on my own,

Next thing I know,
I am in a bright-lighted room,
Clouds were around me,
My pain has left me,
A man behind me called my name,
As I turn around,
I saw a stranger to me,
But I wasn’t scared any more, a cover a peace within me,

A nametag he wore,
His name written in ink,
“Hello my name is nobody”,
Is what I read,

“Welcome to heaven,
I am God,
No tears will be cried any more,
For you’ll be forever loved”

All my scars were gone,
All glass was missing,
All tears were now dried,
My heart one piece,

“Nobody answered, so nobody is my answer,
Then today I must be nobody,
For I answered to you,”
He paused, and looked at me, I was confused,

“Your heart is one piece,
I saved you from him,
I helped you in the long run,
All this was done by my love and power,

“ I want you and I love you,
I am always here to hear you,
And I always will care,
I am always here,

“Everything is going to be ok,
You’ll see, just give it some time, everything is gonna be fine,
These things you need to hear,
So you certainly will hear them,

“To make things clear,
You were made and sad,
Broken hearted and all,
And you traveled here to my heart,

I hated to see you cry so hard,
So I cried with along,
So you weren’t all alone,

“Road names don’t mean a thing,
But yours means a lot,
Your mind may seem lonely,

They cared about you like I do,
But I missed you too much,

“I found you cause I fallowed you,
Of course I’ll help you,
And you didn’t die alone,
I was there rite beside you,

“It was time for you to come,
The snow was my heart frozen,
I missed you so much,
I had to take you home,

“ You could have been saved,
But by someone that you personally knew,
But I was tired of seeing you hurt,
So welcome to your warm new home,

“And remember nobody answered,
So nobody was my answer,
So then today I must be nobody,
Because you I answered.”
