Curtains

by Jacklyn   Nov 28, 2004

The curtains raise,
The scene takes place,
it's boyfirned and girlfriend,
So let the games begin,
here on center stage,
You stabbed me in the heart,
So I stab you in the end,
All these games begin,
All because of you,
Round one here we go,
The bells ring ding ding,
I was too much of this,
Too much of that,
Well news flash for you,
You were too less of a man,
Who will win,
This bloody bath we began?
Who will be the last to stand?
All this time I was never on defense,
But I wasn’t on offence either,
I was the ball you kicked, threw and tackled,
I am tired of being that so chances I will take,
I’ll change to defense and stop you from winning,
This is where the talk stops,
Get ready for round two,
The bells ring ding ding,
You smacked me hard,
Right across the face,
It’s not the first time so I shouldn’t be surprised,
You broke my nose, blood all over the place,
I will not give up,
No matter what to day,
I’m so tired worrying about what to wear,
I’m tired of covering all the things you gave me,
I’m tired of being hit because I couldn’t fulfill,
You kick me in the gut,
I roll over in pain,
You grab me by the neck with your big and strong hands,
“you fool, you think you can win?
You think you can live without me, but you can’t,”
He said it to my face as he threw my down on the floor,
Round two has just ended,
Round three to break the tie,
One to one him against I,
I become so focused I could barely hear the bell,
Ding ding there it goes who will win no one knows,
He thinks he’ll win, but I think not,
For violent beginnings,
Have violent ends,
A knife I take,
A prop of the stage,
You never played fair,
So why should I play by the rules of the game,
You ran after me again,
But this time I don’t run,
I stab you in the stomach,
Round three I just won,
You die so slowly,
But I don’t leave your side,
For the last scene to play,
Is you seeing me,
The one that beat the game,
The one you forever played,
On center stage, the games been played,
Not only good knows, but everyone, that your game was lost,
The scene is done,
You are gone,
This leads to,
The curtains fall,
Which leads to a end once and for all.
