Love Slave

by RyanSmith   Nov 28, 2004

You were the first to calm me down
Give me peace and took away the frowns
I began to believe in love again
Made me forget were I had been
It was your sweetness that opened my heart
You kept me from falling apart
Our life was simple and happy,
just you and me
The world melted away
and my cares seemed far away

Then you changed
made me your love slave
and took my life away
My mind and body you first calmed
My soul went last just to increase my shame
work and no fun unless you felt compelled
I had no opinion nothing was spared
At last you had your personal love slave
To further my pain you moved away
To far to spit but close enough to inflect pain
These chains are too strong I can never escape
Please have mercy on your sad little love slave
