The key to the door

You are so old, wise beyond your years.
So strong and brave, yourve conquered all your fears.

You have lived through your moments, both happy and sad
You have seen everything, good and bad.

your face tells a story, of bravery and love.
I am sure you were sent from the heavens above.

There is so much to learn about the life I will live.
So much to take, and so much to give.

If only I could ask you what this life has in store for me.
If only I could ask you to hand over the key.

The key to the door which will show me what my future will be.
I guess for now I'll just have to wait and see.
