Promises are always broken
I know this is true
I found this out
When I first met you

You told me you'd love me
And you would forever
You said that you cared
And leave me, never

You said you would be true
A very honest man
When you made all these promises
I was your number one fan

You said you'd never lie
But that was a lie itself.
When you broke all these promises
You can't imagine how I felt

There's no words that can explain
How miserable I was
You left me for no reason
You said, 'Just because.'

You never really loved me
You never really cared
You always broke your promises
Your honesty was rare

I never broke my promises
Nope..not one
That's not surprising is it?
But I guess what's done is done

Even the promise
About loving you always
It's still a promise
Because the memory of you always stays

I can't get you off my mind
Even though you've lied
I still love you
But I need to say goodbye

I can't love you anymore
So here's my goodbye.
And here's some advice;
You shouldn't lie.
