Burnt out

Burnt out.

Everything I loved -I sacrifice
Everything above -I can’t deny

Everything I know -I give it up
Everything I own -It’s all undone

Race against the wind,
You can’t stop what you begin,
Heaven just won’t let me in,
Disallowed -And I’m burnt out.

I give more than I get -And I don’t care
I look back, with no regret -And this I swear

I fight it ‘til the end -And that’s the truth
I will not lose a friend -And never you

Crossed the desert twice,
Swam the seas, and trekked the ice,
All of this to find,
What I had left behind.
Climbed my Everest,
To put me to the test,
From the east to the west.
With you's definitely the best.

Falling like a star,
Shooting down to where you are,
I don’t think I’ve ever gone so far,
Up ‘til now -And I’m burnt out.
