In My Eyes We're Sisters

I've known you my whole life.
We've always done things together.
Even if it was hanging out or just talking.
You've always been there for me no matter how far apart we are.
You've stood by me through good and some bad.
In so many ways we're the same.
But other than that
We're two different people.

Everybody sees us as best friends.
But to us we're sisters.
Sisters that care for each other.
You stand up for me.
And I stand up for you.
If you're hurt.
I feel you're pain.
And if I'm hurt.
You feel mine.

Everything was never easy for us as a child.
But as we got older it got worse.
But we stood strong and fought back until we couldn't take it anymore.
Then we found each other.
And talked and realized that we do have something in common and so much more.
But you helped me through.
And of course I did the same for you.
We always take care of each other.
Cause we care what happens.
But others don't understand the bond we share.
With our past and future.
No one else knows what we went through.
But no one really wants to know.
It was hard.
But we both pulled through.
And I'm proud of you.
But always remember I'm here for you no matter what.
In my eyes we're sisters.
And it's something no one can change.

*This is true and my friend has always been there and she still is of course and I'm there for her...I'm the only one out of all her friends that will talk to her and its hard for her right now and I'm there for her and she is there for me.*
