Forever Broken

I remember what had happened,
But it took a very long time.
Time of grieving,
And very dark goodbyes.
I will tell you a story
A story often told
of how Death erased love
without a care.
A life one most daring and yet 2 scared.

It was the same as every other day,
The way you'd look at me and
"I love you and I always will"
But as a saw your body there lifeless and still.
I couldn't free my anger or my fears,
The love of my life was no longer near.
I can't explain but 2 this day it hasn't changed.
The few moments before the accident in my mind is erased
And a photo of you instead is placed,
I do remember the crying
And the pain and now the years
of turmoil at the mere mention of your name.
As i say this loud with expressions near insane,
And i watch as these people cry 4 you today
But they do not know my pain.
I miss you now, this very day
be with me when I'm alone
Because i loved you then,
I ALWAYS will
