I lost you, and I'm not afraid

by Rachel   Nov 28, 2004

You ran off one night
Left me out in the cold
You held your new girl tight
And left me out in the storm
You told me to get a f-ing life
I didn't listen
Cause my life was you

You said for me to let you go
I didn't speak a work.
Though I already let you go.
I lost you, and I'm not afraid.
You kept holding your new girl tight
You told me you loved her
I know I lost you, And I'm not afraid.

You kept telling me to let you go
Even though you didn't know I already did.
You said to leave you two alone.
For y'all had to get to know each other better.
For y'all just met that night

You told me to let you go again.
I finally told you.
I let you go, and I'm not afraid.
