My eyes become blurry
As they fill with tears
I lay in bed
Circled by fears
Of losing you
Because one haunting doubt
Smothers my mind
It makes me want to shout
And pull my hair out
Its asking why
Why do you say I’m an awesome friend
But no time together
Do we spend
How come I always
Have to confront you
You don’t come and talk to me
Even though I want you to
I tell you I’ll always be here
Like a friend should
But you never say the same
Even though you could
So if you’re my best friend
Could you at least act like it
Because I love you George
But you’re making my heart split

    A friend of mine and i use to say we were bestfriends but we never really talked or saw eachother, after awhile, we were always together, so just be patient and it'll all fall into place. Great poem! *Heather
