Each day they want more, never letting you be.

The day sets with a new lie awaiting to escape.
Never satisfied with the last you make up more each night.
Lying awake in the silence you have time to yourself.
You can’t wait to get out on your own and escape the fights.

You think you’re better off alone, with no one to guide you.
Leading to your own path of destruction you drown in tears.
Razorblades ease your pain and become your closest friend.
The answers never come to you and you don’t know what to do.

It grows more each day inside you and plans its escape.
Trying to find a way out it tears you up inside.
Thoughts you never thought before now race across you mind.
The hands of time seem to push you aside and leave you in a bind.

You can’t take the stress anymore and want to let go.
Just talk to your friend and let the blood trickle down.
Slip off into the night and never breathe again.
Just an empty shell is left of the life you had without a sound.
