Don't let me hanging

by Nesic   Nov 29, 2004

We talked, we fought, we made up or so I thought
Your friend told me you're out of country, but it can't be you never mentioned anything to me.
"He left a week ago and won't be back till next Sunday", yes that's what he said. i felt like a fool, thinking I was the one who knew all about you
I was a fool

Was it so hard to say goodbye? Was it so hard to pick up the phone and tell me you're leaving and won't be back home for the next couple of weeks? Was it so hard to care? I guess it was

I'm driving myself crazy
what to do, what to say
should I call and scream at his answering machine?
Should I just keep it inside
and forget about it
No no no
I need to let it out
So tell me

What's the use for me to hold on, what's the use when you don't seem to care anymore. I need to be loved and cared for, something you disrespected
Tell me, how you feel don't let me hanging
I won't make it

Don't wanna cry over you
don't wanna think about you
don't need you anymore
it's all been an illusion
How could you break my heart over and over and over
It's simple
You don't give a damn, I'm not your friend no more
