Why Forever?

Staring at the broken mirror,
Speaking to the shattered wall.
Whispering "I hate you."
Just waiting to fall.

Wanting out of the present,
Regretting the past
Dreading the future,
How long must this pain last?

Why forever?
Do I have to wait that long?
I can't help but wish,
That I was just gone.

These evil thoughts,
swirl through my head.
But I still know,
I don't WANT to be dead.
I can live on,
I'll take what I get
Strong is what I'll be,
I'll pay every single dept.
