Will there ever be peace?

The war has started
The dying has begun
There's hope for peace
But it won't be won.
People shooting and dying,
there families keep crying.
Lying on the battlefield,
wounded and fleeing.
They try to escape,
when they see there friends torn apart.
Hearts are broken from the start
Knowing these things but continuing on.
The military keeps marching trying to be strong.
They know its hopeless.
They know there's no cause.
They know when they get home, they won't get an applause
In war there is no peace,
many people say at least.
But is peace even possible,
or even probable?
Peace can not happen it will never come through.
Unless something happens to make this dream come true.
