Jesus Arrived

The Bible was left,
slowly gathering dust.
not a soul had made,
reading it a must.

The kids and parents,
all got in their beds,
not saying a prayer,
nor bowing their heads.

That night Jesus came,
To judge the living and dead,
Just as the scriptures,
had promised and said.

He gathered all that were saved,
calling names off his list,
Checking them off,
with a small flick of his wrist.

Suddenly a group cried,
"what about me?"
Jesus turned, surprised,
at the large group that plead

In a soft, sweet voice,
like the wind in the trees,
Jesus smiled and said,
to all of the pleas.

"You never took the time,
to read or pray,
You forgot about me,
and now you shall stay."

"You never asked,
for a better tomorrow.
But most importantly.."
Jesus said with sorrow.

"You never opened your heart to me,
not once did you acknowledge or see,
That you had put other things,
before me."

With that Jesus took all that were saved.
and vowed to be back another day,
to return for the ones,
that need to be saved.

*This is just a brief reminder that Jesus could come any day, any hour, any minute, any second. No one will know until the time comes. Would you rather take the chance of continuing to neglect HIM, or would you rather choose to open you heart to HIM. Its your choice, make it wisely.*
