Never have i felt this low

Bite my nails down to the quicks
clench my fists with the tightest grip
shiver with pain from head to toe
never have i felt this low

as the coldness spreads it freezes my mind
an escape route to take is nowhere to find
stuck in a rut as i try to break free
but emptiness takes over from the inside of me

my love for you i cant seem t o decrease
even though you're the one i want to love least
the anger, it builds steadily each day
it has blocked out all sense to aland far away

to a land filled with hopes and tender cares
a land in which pains are halved when shared
a land where all troubles are easily solved
where you feel welcome, happy to be involved

but this is all just a day dream, a prayer
when i wake this land of hopes doesn't seem to be there
instead I'm deserted in a world full of lies
filled with pain, suffering and endless cries

surely there must be another way
than to wake each morning and hate each day
but until that day comes, i guess i'll stay here
in this existence as i slowly drown in my tears
