She Was....

She was young and naive,
insane to believe
That he was the 1
coz he was just in it for fun.

Life seemed so surreal
No matter where she turned,
Pain is all she'd feel.

She'd cry and scream
He lived in her dreams
To haunt her forever,
For eternity

So now that he's gone
Life is all so wrong
And she searched in her soul
But all she found were portals that didn't glow.

She watched as he walk away,
When she couldn't move and in bed she'd lay.
But her feelings didn't disappear
They always lingered near.

So she hid away from life
And prayed that she'd change.
She lost herself on the journey
1 that was meant to be filled with trust and learning.

She remembers when she was happy,
It's like a clocks that ticking,
With every second that goes by
A part of her happy self dies.

She tries to remember who she was
But she just feels lost,
She finally realized she was happy
In that time because she was without him,

Without him,
Without pain,
Without chains,
She was FREE!
