Treat her like a lady

by Mild insomnia   Nov 30, 2004

Treat her like a lady.

After everything that you’ve ever done.
She ain’t after no fun, oh no.
Yeah you sit laughing thinking that you have won,
She ain’t your average woman, oh no.

You must think that it’s funny,
When she cries, do ya honey?
What’s wrong with you?
You go round with your mates,
Making all your mistakes,
Why do you got to?
She’s unstable, and still,
She will so what she will,
Face it, revenge is sweet.
And she’s not what you think,
When you push to the brink,
Just pray you don’t meet.

Your gonna get what’s coming to you,
With every single thing you do,
She’s a lady, treat her as such,
Just don’t play her, give her that much.

You’ll make a nice girl crazy if you don’t do her good baby,
You’ll turn every woman ravin’, if you don’t treat her like a lady,
You’ll send us all insane, if you don’t stand up and make a change,
You’ll drive us all away, if you don’t play by the rules we make.

Why is it so appealing?
To just get those feelings,
Then run away.
With the way that you left her,
I’m surprised you’re still here,
Well you are today.
Men hit and run,
And it makes it no fun,
We know there’s nothing there.
So the next time you try,
Get back in your car and drive,
Cos we don’t care.

Your gonna get what’s coming to you,
With every single thing you do,
She’s a lady, treat her as such,
Just don’t play her, give her that much.
