That little girl

by Monica   Dec 1, 2004

She was but seven,
when the angels took her to heaven,
but the fault was not hers,
the blame, they say,
was just a game.

When she was alone,
the only one home,
The devil paid his visit.

he took her away,
that very night,
Even though she had put up a fight.

That very day,
her life was gone,
she no longer existed,
because that man had visited.

Even though she died,
she was still living,
living her life,
not even giving.

You see i sort of lied,
to tell you the truth,
a major part of her died.

But what you see,
before you today,
is all of that girl,
that got away.
