A Dream That Hurts

I stare at you and you at me
we are in a place no one knows
only you and me alone
I reach for you and you for me
we never reach each other
so i close my eyes and start to cry
because seeing you and not being able to feel you hurts inside
but then you tell me
"please don't cry" because once again
i will stare at you and you at me
and be together forever
till we wake up and see it was all a dream.
