Homicide and Sparkling Eyes

by Cheery   Dec 1, 2004

I sat upon the hill,
To await your return,
As the sun, the sky once filled,
Slowly ends its tragic burn.

The first star appears,
Reminds me of all the years,
The times we spent
The laughter we shared,
The tears we lent,
And the ruthless impaired.

The second star appears,
A reminder of all my fears,
The day our love dies,
The day that I cry,
The day I have to dry out my eyes,
And the day that stranger walked among us.

Magically, the third star appears,
This one reminded of my already tears.
But these tears were not bad,
I was never ever that sad,
These tears represented my first kiss and the inspiring glow of the summers bliss.
But this one tear was savored,
For a special purpose,
The darkness awaits
This shattered soul.

And all together the rest of the stars appear.
Reminding me of all my peers.
The ones who hugged me,
The ones who saved me,
The ones who gratefully stood by me
If it wasn't for them,
We'd still be together,
And happily share the love we had.

Just then the stars formed a pattern,
A broken heart
A falling tear
A thickly drawn line
And your passionate eyes,
As if they gazed back at mine.

As you lye there,
You tell me your sorry,
And that it will be us for always,
A struggle for air,
The driver doesn't care,
It was all just tragic and sad.
A strive less scream for the grips,
And breathless motion of the lips,
Read out to be "I love you"

A sudden moan ,
She Grabbed the phone,
But his head was already laid back.
A sparkle,
A glimmer,
A breathless sight to see,
Damn the impaired,
They stole him from me!
