I feel this pain day after day.
I long for you to take it away.
I want to hear your voice, feel your touch.
Am I asking for a bit too much?
To want your love to heal my pain?
Is this conceited? Is this vain?
Or do you feel the same way?
Question-filled mind every day?
I wish I could see inside of your mind.
Answers I need would be so easy to find.
