Aren't we all just actors in the long run?

by Steevens   Dec 2, 2004

Aren't we all just actors in the log run?
Acting like ourselves
Or what we want to be.
Independent lives?
or imitating what we see?
You'll never learn, You'll never win.
That's plain as plain can be.
Aren't we all just actors in the long run?
Casting's done by God,
Or whatever you believe.
Each one has their part
Which no one else could receive.
You'll never change, You'll stay the same.
From the time that you're conceived.
Aren't we all just actors in the long run?
Acting like our God,
Or what we think he wants to see?
Striving to live right,
With Him always guiding me.
He'll never change, He'll stay the same.
That's plain as plain can be.
Aren't we all just actors in the long run?
That's plain as plain can be.
